CPR PEARS® — Operator
Train your workforce to safely and confidently operate the Power Elevator Access Rope System (PEARS®) under direct supervision.
What is PEARS?
PEARS® stands for Portable Elevation Access Rope System, a proprietary scaffold-free facade access technology developed by CPR Facade Upgrade Specialists. It utilizes powered rope ascenders and engineered roof anchors to move personnel, tools, and heavy materials along high-rise building exteriors
Why This Course Matters
Operating powered access systems at height introduces significant risks, from equipment failure to suspension intolerance. This course solves the critical business problem of working safely at height by ensuring your team possesses the practical competencies to operate PEARS equipment safely, manage ropes and anchors, and execute correct emergency responses, thereby reducing operational risk and ensuring strict adherence to site safety procedures.
Who Should Attend?
- Personnel required to operate the PEARS® under the direct supervision of a PEARS® Supervisor.
Prerequisites
- Participants must be at least 18 years old, medically fit for work at height, and hold a current RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights certificate.
Benefits to Your Organisation
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensures your operations comply with WHS Regulation 2025 (Part 4.4), Safe Work Australia Codes of Practice, and AS/NZS 1891/4488 standards.
